"Next Cliché" poster
An A3-sized print by Wrocław painter and draughtsman Antek Wajda. Perfect as a gift or as a decoration for a key bedroom wall.
Antek Wajda (born 1976) graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Wrocław Academy of Fine Arts. He is one of the most original artists of the young generation, whose work is classified as trash art. He deals with painting, comics, and drawing, and also creates satirical drawings for various newspapers and magazines, as well as other printed publications. With the passion of a sociologist and satirist, he scrutinises the contemporary world. In his "hooligan" prose debut "Banbury. Zdarzenia na brygu" he ironically described the lives of Poles leaving for work in the UK. The artist, who comes from the Wrocław alternative scene, is known for his caustic caricatures and a series of kitschy furry collages, mockingly commenting on the mental matrices of contemporary times. His works have been exhibited in New York, Łódź, Wrocław, Prague and Warsaw, among other places.
