About this place

We arrived at Kino Nowe Horyzonty with a clear mission: to create a place where love for the Tenth Muse naturally intertwines with literature. We wanted Wrocław's film enthusiasts to have a space where they could extend their cinematic emotions, and today, that conviction is stronger than ever.

We are located in the very heart of Poland's largest art-house cinema, on Kazimierza Wielkiego Street. Although this is the center of a vibrant city, we operate on a completely different rhythm, set by premieres, festivals, and discussions. On our shelves, everyone will find something special: from children's literature, through popular science, to monographs of directors and films on DVD and Blu-ray, as well as authorial posters and postcards that will allow you to take a piece of the cinema home with you.

This is where festival guests, critics, and all those for whom cinema is more than just entertainment meet. If you're looking for classics of fiction, a good reportage, or simply want to chat about the cinema of Yorgos Lanthimos and Quentin Tarantino before entering the screening room – we are waiting for you.
