Ewa Olejarz

Ewa Olejarz – born in 1974. Finalist of several national poetry competitions, including the 3rd - 5th National Poetry Competition for the Granite Arrow and the 17th Jacek Bierezin National Poetry Competition. Winner of the 22nd Rafał Wojaczek One Poem Tournament and the 11th Open One Poem Tournament for the K.I. Gałczyński Silver Coin. Winner of the 2nd edition of the Tymoteusz Karpowicz Competition for a poetry book. Finalist of the competition for the best Polish short story of 2014 organized by the Society for Active Communication as part of the International Short Story Festival in Wrocław. She writes historical articles, short stories, and poetry. Her works have been published in Opole Historical Confrontations, Gliwice Notebooks, Śląsk, Akant, Arterie, Cegła, Migotania, and Topos, among others. Author of "The Silence of the Playground" (Topos Library, 2015) and "Pfu" (Duży Format Foundation, 2015). She lives in Zabrze.
