The monograph of the Literary Materials Magazine "Cegła" is an artbook summarizing the editorial team's activities since 2001.

The substantive and descriptive part, from an anthropological perspective, is presented by Professor Anna Markowska's text, while Dr. Jakub Skurtys presents the literary-critical perspective. Dr. Marcin Czerwiński, in turn, presents the magazine in an experimental textual form. Dr. Karolina Wiśniewska from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław supplements the substantive part with a text dedicated to combining design and literature. An interview with the editor-in-chief, Karol Pęcherz, is also published. The entire work is illustrated and includes descriptions of all previous issues of "Magazyn Materiałów Literackich Cegła".

The artbook includes posters, a compilation zine presenting the first issues of the magazine from 2001-2005, and both a substantive and an album part.

"Magazyn Materiałów Literackich – Cegła" is a periodical combining fine literature and design, published since 2001. Its consistent formula relies on creating a "magazine-gadget" based on innovative publishing forms. It is dedicated to presenting the creative works of young authors of poetic and prose texts. In 2023, the 50th issue of "Magazyn Cegła" will be released.

Each issue of the magazine is a unique, surprising publishing project that goes far beyond the forms of a traditional periodical. A cigarette pack, a card game - flirt, a poster exhibition with concrete poetry, the use of mirror reflection, a brick number on stamps or magnets for cars with literary quotes from classics - these are just some of the ideas implemented.
