Brick Magazine no. 49 (Crime)

Issue no. 49 of Cegła Magazine focuses on crime fiction.

The issue harks back to the retro style of well-known crime fiction series published in Poland in the 1970s. The publication includes a poetic selection of noir poems and those referencing crime fiction style, as well as prose in the form of short stories.

Courtesy of the editors of Literatura na Świecie, we also published the text "The Files" concerning the death of Raymond Roussel.

The selection was made by Darek Foks and Karol Pęcherz.

In this issue, you will find texts by Marcin Świetlicki, Klara Nowakowska, Marta Podgórnik, Mariusz Grzebalski, Adam Kaczanowski, Dominik Bielicki, and many other outstanding authors.

The cover was prepared using retro techniques on original Heidelberg duplicators in the Mutant Letterpress workshop in Wrocław.

The issue was premiered at the 19th International Crime Festival in Wrocław.
